isn't it the DOS kernel ?
you can burn a 27c64 eprom, add an adapter and replace it. it's quite easy. You can actually just use 2 x 32 pin sockets, bend a few pins and re-wire 2 wires I think it is.
I've done so recently.

I wouldn't mind making one for you, but depending on the continent you live on it might be cheaper to get it done "locally"
