Space Chase, the CBM II game that was 35 years late, is finished!
Dear * Space Chase is a 1 oder 2 player split screen shooter that was specifically developed for the CBM II series of computers (sold as Commodore 610, 620, 710 and 720 in Europe and as B128, B256 and CBM B128-80 and B256-80 in the U.S.). It is fully programmed in Assembler, uses the full "PETSCII resolution" of 160 x 50 and boasts cool music and sound composed by the famous SID composer Max Hall (yes, the CBM IIs have SID chips!) Space Chase can be downloaded for free at http://www.spacechase.de. If you don't own a real CBM II hardware, you can use the CBM2 emulation of (Win)VICE to still enjoy the game. Have fun! Comments and feedback welcome! Regards CKtwo www.spacechase.de www.retropulsiv.de

That is great news! Time to take out my B128 when I get back home! I'll spread the word.

Oh, I forgot to ask. If I place the program a 4040 disk, would that be all right? (Instead of running it off a 8050 disk...)

@RobertB: Can't tell for sure
@RobertB: Can't tell for sure to be honest. The safest way would be to copy the files Space Chase consists of one by one to whatever floppy drive you are using (e.g. using petSD and a real drive). I myself use a petSD and run Space Chase off it with no problems.

Oh, I have a PETdisk somewhere... I would have to look for it. Other than that, I was thinking of getting the files on a 1541 disk and having the 4040 read those into the B128.
