MSD-SD2 Video

So I finally got around to installing the Chip Level Design Mass Duplicator roms into my MSD-SD2 the other night, and figured I'd make a little video telling a little about the drive, my history with it, and the rom upgrade and demo it a bit for anyone who might be interested.

On a related note, anyone who happens to have a copy of the original software that CLD shipped with this Upgrade I would be most grateful if you would be willing to ship me a copy of it, haven't been able to find that anywhere yet.

Re: MSD-SD2 Video

Hmm, I think I may have that software disk. I would have to look when I return to the states.

If you do, that would be awesome Robert, I know I am not the only one who is trying to track down a copy of the disk.. I spoke with Ray Carlsen about it as well and I know he would like a copy as well... so if you do have it, if you can get it to me I promise to pass it on to him as well.

Or I can give it to Ray when I see him in November. :)

Are you back in the states
Are you back in the states yet Rob? Tried to send a private message here, but have no idea if the thing worked.

DId you happen to see if you had the CLD Mass Duplicator Disk that came with the Rom Upgrade?
Re: Did you happen to see...

When I was in the house the other day, I briefly looked for it but didn't see anything. Right now I'm in the Los Angeles area and won't check again until I return.

Robert,
Robert, Thank you. I never thought this disk would be so impossible to find, but apparently a d64 of it hasn't seemed to find its way out onto the net that anyone can find.
that was great
I used to have one years ago I had no idea what it's capabilities were. Now I wish I still had it lol. The ebay prices for these are crazy lol. I seen one in the 700 range.
Commandore,
Commandore, You actually can find/buy them even on EBAY much cheaper than the listings you are seeing.. there are 2 or 3 units that have been listed for over a year at buy now prices that are just laughable... but units sneak on as regular auctions from time to time and usually sell FAR below those ones.
