Here is an amazing Gamma Spectrometry System based on C128D posted by one of the users on c128.com, Tomislav Plese. Here Tomislavm who goes by Tomy, shows some Tokyo soil samples taken since Fukishima power plant and he points out Cesium 134 and 137 spikes in radiation.
Check out his U-Tube channel and subscribe if you are a fan of high energy particles.

Very interesting video! O.K., where is a copy of that software? ;-)

Hi Robert,
Thank you for your commend and comment!
I have copy of compiled software with many copies for case of disaster ;)
Software is working with this hardware. I also tried to run in VICE emulator as C128 80col mode and it is running until you try to make spectrum or print out something everyhing else working ;)
Best Regards,
Tomy

That is good to know. Did you write the software, or did other people write the software?

Oh, the C128 emulation on VICE is not perfect. That may be why you can't get a spectrum display or a print-out.

Hi Robert,
No, I didn't write the software, team who made this system hardware made also the software.
MCA hardware (this additional piece of hardware with trefoil sign below C128D) is made with some components as "sample to memory" and it is connected to C128D over user port for communication. I didn't try to find solution for attaching MCA with user port to PC but as I hear from some peoples it is not possible. So, this is it about taking spectrum and print out I didn't try to make because I don't have posibility to take spectrum.
Maybe someone else have some suggestion how to connect device like this to communicate with PC with some kind of "user port to xxxxxx on PC"
Regards

Oh, did you buy the software/hardware from the company? In other words, was it a commercial product?
By the way, I forget... in what country are you located? Switzerland?
