The New York Times is known

The New York Times is known for writing long articles so I feel this one is the best article on him because of the length:

Chuck Peddle Dies at 82; His $25 Chip Helped Start the PC Age

His invention brought digital technology to a new breed of consumer devices and powered early Apple and Commodore computers.

Chuck Peddle, UMaine grad whose invention paved the way for personal computing, dies at 82

Thanks for posting this

Thanks for posting this Robert.  I used one of your pictures on the Hackaday article I wrote and credited you.  Is it safe to assume that the video from the 8 bit generation event at CHM where he was talking with the microphone is lost?

I saw that... thanks for the credit!

Not necessarily. While organizing, I've been painstakingly going through my tapes, and I may have seen it! I will continue to dig.

Video from the B camera was found! (I'm not sure what happened to the video from the A camera.) I've just posted it at
